The 1.7 Animations Mod is one of if not the most popular mod in Minecraft 1.8 PvP. Lunar has had countless suggestions to update this mod in different ways but in this thread I will be showing how this mod can become the best it can be.
Punching during usage particles
Turning on this option will display particles when block hitting or eating and swinging at the same time on a block, the first clip below shows this in action.
1.7 Sword Swing Separator
Add an option to separate the 1.7 sword swing. When old blockhit is turned on in Lunar, it automatically turns on the new sword swing as well which a lot of people don't like. The second clip below shows the sword swing animations when turned on and off.
1.7 Rod Position Separator
When the "Item transforms" option is turned off in Lunar, the Rod position automatically switches to 1.8. There should be a separate option to switch between the 1.7 and 1.8 rod position. The third clip shows this in action.
1.7 Armor Damage Tint
In 1.7, enchanted armor pieces would have a brighter damage tint than non-enchanted ones. In 1.8, every armor piece has the same damage tint no matter what. The fourth clip below shows me taking damage and my helmet having a brighter red damage tint because its enchanted.
No Hit Delay Visual
Turning on this option shows your sword swinging at all times regardless of getting the hit penalty, this is only visual and won't provide an unfair advantage.
Sneak Animation Smoothness
A lot of people do not like the Lunar 1.7 sneak animation, they either prefer it to be smoother or less smooth. A good fix for this would be to add a slider to adjust how smooth the sneak animation is.
Old Lunar Blockhit
There should be an option to use the old "broken" Lunar blockhit animation as a lot of people preferred it over the new one (including me), it was unique and looked really clean with some texture packs. Refer to the fifth clip below to see it in action.
