Hello,
Today I'm proposing to add some features to friends to make them more useful and practical.

First of all the best friends, they are already available on the Launcher but not in games.

Then server status (still for friends),
I suggest adding this:
Server status options, to be able to enable or disable friends to view private servers.

Following the above functionality, add the ability to invite a player to a server, which will display the motd, the icon and the number of players.

I also find that the friends interface is quite small compared to the other menus, a feature to change the size of this could improve the ux.

you can use shift-tab to see friend list in games
i think you can also invite them from there

I know for friends in game.
No, you can't invite them to public server. Only for hosted world.
