Many people nowadays use over 400 dpi for the benefits of high dpi on mouse latency, especially on higher polling rates where it is impossible to saturate the polling rate with slow motions on only 400dpi. When switching to a higher polling rate, people usually compensate for the faster sensitivity by turning down their pointer speed in windows control panel. This, however negatively affects the mouse input due to scaling introduced by adjusting the speed. Most games nowadays use raw input for handling the mouse input to avoid the negative effects of windows scaling. Precision and low latency of mouse input are very important, especially in competitive games, which minecraft is. Why hasn't this feature been implemented despite of high demand (500 messages on discord about it). This feature should be high on the priority list since most modern clients (badlion...) already have this feature, and some people are drawn away from lunar because of the lack of it.
