This option can be included through launcher settings. A short explanation for this can be laptops. Many laptops come with two graphics processing unit (GPU). One of them is called dedicated, and the other one is usually called integrated aka. iGPU.
The point is that, usually there's an issue that Lunar Client uses the iGPU by default, meaning if the user has an RTX3060 (as an example), they're about to get less than 100FPS because Lunar is not even using it.
To switch between GPUs, you should manually go to Windows graphics settings, add the javaw file, and manually set it to high performance to use your dedicated graphics. Another way is to add the game manually inside your GPUs control panel, which still takes time and may be confusing for some users. (As in their POV, Lunar client is just giving them lower FPS than they usually get in any other launcher and they're unaware of the actual issue).
With this being an option (preferably visible with advanced mode enabled), the user will be able to simply change the GPU being used by Lunar through the launcher, by the click of a button.
