But this suggestion I don’t think would be a good idea, namely because the congratulating people on leveling up aspect is gone + some people don’t like being pinged in a different channel

I’ve been here for like 2 years and most of the time when someone levels up most people just say gg then go back to whatever they were talking about

I feel like it's less annoying than getting pinged in a different channel and having to leave the conversation to look at the ping rather than the message just popping up, also it's not like level ups are super frequent here either
