Not needed at all.
No its 100% needed ong fr
@spiral remnant this ur copy bruh
its a simple mod, a basic improvement, i prefer using lunar because i dont have to download and update a million mods
Use modrinth app then
I already do, but still i prefer lunar 90% of the time
May I ask why? I only find lunar useful for older versions
Because its simple, doesnt require other mods or dependencies, runs fine for me and provides me with 99% of everything i need straight out of the box
I suppose
However, this is a suggestion, telling me to use fabric instead is not a helpful comment, i know i can do that, but its something nice for the client
Yes but it's just so unnecessary
How is it unnecessary exactly
And it takes them ages to add new mods
we already have the option to lower the render distance of tile entities, why not be able to increase it as well
Also here is an example of it from the fabric mod's page
BEATIFUL
the reason i presume lunar does not add these kind of mods is because this client is meant to be a pvp client. mods like this would overload the client with mods that not everybody would find useful. In my case I used to use lunar but wanted a customizable experience for pvp and for multiplayer so I spent a day or two making a fabric modpack on modrinth and now I have full flexibility. Lunar has to take into account the many people who use their client, you only have to worry about yourself. hope that helps :)
This isnt bloat though, they have the opposite feature already, just allow us to extend the range as well, its not even just a pvp client anymore, nobody uses shulker preview or minimap for pvp
This would kill performance tho, an option to toggle it is fine
Its a mod/option, would never suggest it being forced
look to each their own id always recommend fabric for anyone playing minecraft but lunar is also really good if you don't want to add your own mods cause its One click and you're good to go, almost nothing else needed
