Lunar chooses to disable it, hypixel can't. They also wouldn't be able to block lunar, cause if they could they would block every hacked client.

Lunar has like this 'brand name' thing
E.G You join on Lunar the server gets a packet which includes 'Lunar'
and if you join on vanilla the server gets the packet 'vanilla'
and prob more idk

Also, Hypixel can disable it themselves using the ✨ Lunar Client API Server Plugin ✨
