I had an idea, that somewhere in the Minecraft game. (After launcher) There could be a "Serverlist" That servers can add themselves to. Instead of players going to the Outdated Minecraft server list. They could pull up a tab on the Minecraft client. scroll through servers with icons banners, ip, and playercount. Maybe sorting options? Allowing the player a button to "Import" the Server to their Personal "Server List" There could be "Top servers" Tab like on Minecraft server list. where lunar could display the top voted for server.

# icy scarab Lunar has a smal list of Partnerd Server witch are high quality.

'small' though. Attracting new members to the client is the end goal. so adding a convenience factor to finding new servers to play with your friends. Might do that. There are also ways to find new money for Lunar devs' owners idk their financials. but this idea broadens their already existing system. like adding a 'new' system and having cheaper spots at the top of the server list. (Buyable ad's) Labeled as sponsored. instead of them being on the launcher only. 🤷‍♂️

My message got filtered cause the bot here didn’t like me sending lunars own GitHub link

#

But everything you’re mentioning is in their server mappings repo so I think this is already planned.

@mild raven Could you send me that link in dms?

It used to be just the domain name and server name and like that’s it at one point but now the mappings provide an option for you to define a server type, region, icon, banner, primary version, etc

#

So I really can’t see why they would need all that information unless they already have a browser planned using the new information in the mappings.
