Make a role discord translator

Make a role for ppl that wil translate some messages so staff can easily moderate other language channels. For example if staff sees something suspicious or 2 ppl having an argument he can ping this role and ask to translate to English so he can decide to give punishment or something

I mostly agreed with that but google translator is not a good way to improve the quality of work provided by chatmods, yea google translator in most of the cases works great but sometimes can lead to problems like someone gets warn when he’s mean something else

And then it’s hard to explain to chatmods that you mean something else

We can't really totally rely solely on just what people tell us, they can always say it means something else & get someone muted for no reason

For example my friend one’s ask chatmods a question (it was just some fun) in Polish which means “I have a Alzheimer” and google translator translate it to “Your mom have a Alzheimer” which in this case wasn’t anything wrong cuz that was just silly conversation between him and chatmod but if this will happen on normal conversation between two users chatmod could take that as a offence sentence

Ah I see, well honestly it just comes down to whether we want to add more language channels. They mostly just end up dying after a while and a lot of "dry" channels just looks quite cluttered

I can't give you more details then that. But I can assure you it was given fair relating to the context of the conversation. And about the suggestion that thunder suggested, I agree with dank on the google translate isn't perfect but it does give a general idea of it. And if anyone thinks there punishment (in polish chat that is) is inaccurate they can just contact me and I'll have a look and see if Google might of translated it in weirdly but usually the translation wont add new words like mejshi mentioned:

“I have a Alzheimer” and google translator translate it to “Your mom have a Alzheimer”

**I'll leave this open for a bit if you got any other questions but there isn't much we can do about not using Google translate and I am not always available to moderate the chat (as well as I am the only one on the team that knows polish). **
