in later versions of mc, you can switch the hand that your items appear. i would like this feature in 1.8.9.
also, when you switch to left hand mode in later versions, the chat gets in the way. with the ability to move the scoreboard, i think that chat should be moveable too, or at least have a feature to put it towards the right side of the screen.
