You don't, The support channel is ABOVE general, people are most likely to go there first. However discord defaults to a limited and suggested channel mode which may hide the support channel. Putting Support in the hangout category won't work.
it's pretty much above general chat, i'm pretty sure it's just that people think the general chat is more active and they think that's where they would have a better chance of getting help
i don't think it's to do with the positioning

it is a good idea especially if the person does not have show all channels option turned on
and they can’t find support channel so they ask in general
But the support channel is already shown even tho "Show all channels" option is toggled off

Though yes, the #📋︱community-support is automatically toggled visable to all users
