The New Lunar Launcher Update is really buggy, whether you are using an older version of windows perhaps Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 it doesn't really let you use the launcher, and if you try and install an older version it updates automatically and rarely lets you launch the game and if you do launch it the main launcher will just crash
so i am saying that instead of degrading or changing something major in the launcher, just make us able to use older versions of lunar without forcing updates, thanks! 🫡

Launchers depend on serverside connections and downloads, these server side aspects are not backwards compatible and change with each update

They already have plans to try and support Windows 7, and 8
This was mentioned in the blog post about the new launcher, so it's not your fault that you didn't know. (because who reads the Lunar Client blog posts 💀)
