This is kindia wired having it click Z to zoom in the zoom mod and every time I log on I have to change it and optifine is set to c so why not this

just change the keybind… if your settings arent saving when you rejoin ur doing something wrong idk what to tell u

also "z" makes more sense because its literally zoom not coom

Lets make it more complex, when you are on the optifine module the default is c, with eveything else it's z

People uses C on optifine, i think they will get confused when they can't zoom on lunar+optifine until they figure out there is a zoom mod (new people to lunar)

compact coral is closer to the pinkie and is easier to press than z

this is based on how you have your hand onto the keyboard. For example i never use my pinky as its uncomfortable and slow for me
