Yeah or if they added a mod called something like ‘Transparent GUIs’ where you can choose from all of the GUIs which ones you want transparent or event ‘Custom GUIs’ where you can also change the color.

Typically there is a gray outside of it that is slightly transparent

i think u can do this by going to the menu blur mod and turning on the inventory blur and turning the background color to fully transparent
