#Enable "Public" option for users

Currently the Staff can make the bot mention a person with a command, and this is useful when helping out. Example:

#

But we users can't do this, and the truth is that when helping in #📋︱community-support this would make it much easier to respond. Currently the option is not available to users, because when you set the "Public", the bot makes it so that only we see the message.

I don't know if it's a bug or if it's programmed that way on purpose. I honestly don't see any reason why a user wouldn't be able to do it. So my suggestion is that users should be allowed to mention another user with a help bot message.

I mean youre literally doing staff’s job for them in comm support with this commsnd so it would make having staff superfluous

#

imo just copy + paste the fix from the bot or apply for staff

Would be helpful, and yeah i dony think they will do it

the bot could be abused for mass mentions if they enable the users option

Cool idea I like it Since I ussualy help in community support and its rlly annoying that I have to manually copy paste the solution.

Maybe the ‘Support Helper’ role could be able to add reactions to posts like this where for some reason the bot doesn’t
