#Entity culling

Would be cool but also will prob take a while to implement for the devs
They can maybe pay someone to use the mod as it already exists.
The best one that exists as far as I can see specifically disallows commercial use in its license
You can't use it for money or a competitive advantage in your client
To quote the owners: Redistributing this mod within modpacks is allowed as long as that modpack can be played for free by anyone owning an official copy of the Minecraft Java Edition.
Lunar client is a free modpack for anyone owning an offical copy of the minecraft java edition
Which one is that?
I might be thinking of a different mod
Are links allowed?
Just checked and no
I'll dm it ig
Kk
The Software may not be used to get a) a commercial advantage, or b) monetary
compensation
That's what it says in the GitHub
Also says
This license does not allow others to distribute the software/derivative works(in source or binary form). You have to contact the author to get permission for redistribution. (For example: Modpacks(that are not hosted on CurseForge), "Clients", mod hosting sites).
And I found this online suggesting that they won't let lunar use it
But yea If lunar can make a better version of entity culling than sodium's, this would be a good addition
nice
