so u are able to freind people tht dont have lunar cleint but have the essentials mod this whould be so cool

I think the entire friend system is designed to be exclusively between users of the same client, so it adds social pressure for people to use the same clients as their friends. Don't know if lunar would want to implement this.

if you mean add essential, it's a huge no, essential has cosmetics, it has nice free ones too, which is a big no-no for lunar
