for newer versions, the world changing screen is annoying af on servers.
(in 1.8, its instant)

I found it a annoying thing when and if I wanted to play on gamemode servers on newer versions after being so used to how on 1.8 with how it was

so it would be a nice QOL option

like how Shield height is a QOL option

oh yea, in older versions I think pre ~1.13, there used to be a JVM argument you could provide to the game to do this. Its usually on by default in clients, but in vanilla, there is still a loading screen.
