Player Visibility

Lunar client should have a Player Visibility mod. That mod should make players invisible for performance and you can choose which players be invisible and which is visible.

For example: You’re in a Minecraft event and there’s over 150+ players on the event and you want to make the players invisible for performance reasons so you go to the mod and make every invisible except for the event hoster or owner or friends or anyone you want.

Other examples: You’re in a server with a lot of people which is causing you performance problems but you don’t want to make every one invisible because you’re friends are there so you go to the mod and make every player invisible expect you’re friends which should help by ALOT in performance.

Some see this feature pretty useless and some see it useful because it is useful! And can make you’re fps go from 30 to 100+

A lot of other clients have this feature and in popular servers I get 30-50 frames not because my pc is potato bc there’s so many people even rtx 4090 would lag!

My pc specs are: Rtx 3070 I9 10th generation 32gb ram

Let me explain it so basically I join servers with 150+ players which is a lot and the place we are in is SMALL which means lag! A lot of players in small spaces can get you performance problems

I'm failing to understand how this makes sense, if it's really about performance there are other ways to fix that. Hiding players from your own screen is crippling yourself in games for no reason

If anything, making translucent entities would take a bigger toll on performance due to how Minecraft rendering work

I don't really see this being a 'modification' on the client. There are servers that allow you to hide players in lobbies. You can follow this guide if you want more fps options.

there is no other way because every SINGLE PLAYER! has his own physics and movements and alot of stuff and you have to load it and your cpu just goes brrrr and fps drops down to 20-30 I have been playing mc events and alot of players and including me our fps are not going well and we have to use other clients that have the feature and lunar is just top g and i cant use other clients else than lunar so please if you can add it please it would do alot

Then I would recommend asking the server your playing on to implement that kinda of feature as I must agree with Mr Pug here. I'm pretty sure, implementing a modification to check and make all entiries go less visable would make the performance worse.
