Its the name of this thing where your brain think something is somehow changing it when in reality it is doing nothing but because your brain believes it is being changed, the thing actually changes your body

For example, if you took a "pill" that was actually just a sweet but your doctors told you it was a painkiller, your pain would (probably) stop

So basically spoofed fps will make your brain think the game is smoother
