i had an old post on it. imo it should be under the 1.7 animations tab, and it should be called legacy hit color or smth. the new one just sucks for 1.8 pvp imo. sad that lunar isnt considering us practice players too much, or most likely, the community. istg this better get enough likes.

that doesnt look quite like 1.7 though, also if they dont make it legacy hit color, i think they should make it an option called legacy saturation tint, because if you go on 1.7, set the hit color module to default settings, then slide it to the top right on the red rectangle scale thingy, its exactly the same as the 1.7 default
so making the hit color module have the legacy tint as an option like should armor color would work
so newer versions could have it too since 1.7 animations is only on 1.8.9
then just resetting to default and changing the slider up all the way to the corner would make it the same as 1.7
also remember that the 1.7 hit color changes a lot based on the lighting environment
so lunar would most likely need to consider that
but its just 1 extra toggle in hit color or 1.7 animations
I am too lazy to form an actual response but what we need is just a brightness slider for hit color so we can make it like in the above image from oranges 1.7 animations cuz its very nostalgic and we would love to have the mods we used to use in the OG forge days added in Lunar
