would be cool as a mod (ease of access, its similar to osu!lazer and its inbuilt skin editor) but i dont see the appeal in having the lunar devs dedicate their time to this instead of other highly requested features

making a resourcepack, especially just to retexture blocks, is incredibly easy. idk why anyone would complain tbh
