#1.7 hit color on 1.8

Look at the first three screenshots. Notice anything different? The hit color. The first one is the 1.8 default hit color, the second is the hit color module's default color on 1.8, and the third is 1.7. 1.7's hit color looks so good, and i've been trying to replicate it exactly on 1.8 for so long. I just cant get to, though, at least on lunar. There are two other clients which have this as a 1.7 animation however, which are badlion and labymod, however, badlion seems to have ruined it, as it looks worse than lunars when i reinstalled it to attach a screenshot. I attached a screenshot of labymod's hit color with 1.7 animations on, though. I was on 1.16.5, because my installation for 1.8 wasnt even installing it, but the 1.8 and 1.8+ hit color is exactly the same. The labymod hit color for 1.16.5 still looked very similar to 1.7. I have found a similar hit color using lunar through a lot of tweaking, however, its still very saturated in a bad way, unlike 1.7, which is sleek and smooth. I don't know if this is already built into the client, although I doubt it. However, i do have three video clips of the 1.7 hit color on 1.8, being gamemodes with rods, and nobody plays that on 1.7, 1.8 has faster rods. The packs are the same, and they're all using lunar client. I'll link them here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Afc1VMolAA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFA_pYSLl3Y

If this already exists, can someone help me get it? Although i've asked people who have tried to help in the community support channel. But if it doesn't, it should probably be added under the 1.7 animations tab, along the lines of "Legacy Hit Color" and then a description when you hover over it, and then making it so that adjusting the hit color with the legacy hit color option enabled would make it look like adjusting the hit color on 1.7, so it doesnt bug. It obviously doesnt have to be exactly like this, just good for everyone. Sorry for the long post.

the labymod screenshot does look a little different from 1.7, however, in gameplay, it looks more similar than either of the 1.8 ones.

iirc it should be the "show on armour" option in the hitcolour mod or something like that
i'm not at my pc rn so i can't fact check that, sorry if i'm wrong D:

it does exist, but like i said, the second and third screenshot do not look alike, as if you go in game and compare them, one looks very squishy and saturated, being 1.8, even if you turn on should armor color. the 1.7 one looks very clean and sleek.

nevermind about the youtubers' hit colors, i looked at some of minemanner's build uhc videos, and after a bit of searching, i saw him open his inventory, and the version text in the bottom left was 1.7.10, i saw on another video from wigchig about bowboosting that he played on 1.7 for the clips he got in that video, but it was better in 1.8, and after a bit of searching, i found the default 1.8 hit color in one clip. so now i know it isnt a feature, which i think is an even better reason to add it. the default hit color module isn't the same, go into a game, take a screenshot of an entity taking damage with the default hit color settings, then go in 1.7 and do the same but without the hit color module. if you look closely, the tint of the color is completely different. if you take off the armor, in 1.8 it looks way worse on most skins. skins do affect it, but not much, as only on a few skins does the PLAYER hit color, not the armor, look similar to 1.7.
