Before I used Lunar Client, I used to use the log window in the vanilla launcher a lot in case I pressed F3+D so I could see the world around me (although I could just resize chat), and because I just got in the habit of doing so.
Maybe you could do something like that, but just put it in chat in another tab, sort of like the MineTogether mod, or World of Warcraft if my memory is correct, so I don't have to Alt+Tab every time.
Maybe you guys could also make a functionality to view previous logs while still inside the game, which I sometimes do if I want to see something my friend posted a while back, such as a server ip.
