I want to suggest adding 4 startér pokemons as a Pet! It would be pikachu ,squirtle, bulbasaur and charmander every one of them would have some unique features like pikachu would start wearing cap when its raining , charmander in Rain would get back to his pokeball and more
Squirtle - squirtle would start wearing swimglasses near water
Bulbasaur - would wear sunglasses in hot biomes like jungle
Pikachu- would get cap when its raining
Charmander would get in his pokeball when its raining and He would get swimsuit in ocean biom
Together - everyone would sit on your shoulder and sometimes run on the ground + swim with you in the water
