I think of this as like a small add to the client just to add a little feature. This feature would come useful in minecraft survival in the dark. But if you don't like it you could turn it off in the settings of the client. Hope it a good suggestion! :) It would only have it some cosmetic like the galaxy wing or galaxy capes for examples
