The issues we are currently investigating/fixing include:

Fast Render being forced off
SBA HUD mods rendering in weird positions

Hosted Worlds' Bedrock crossplay feature now supports Minecraft Bedrock edition 1.21.30, which was released earlier today!

If you didn't know, Bedrock and Java players can play together on Lunar Client Hosted Worlds. This is the easiest way to play cross-platform with your friends!

We are also aware users are having trouble installing the client. There is a manual fix for this until we push out an update. If you cannot install the client (if it gets stuck on Installing), you can do the following:

#

Step 1: Download Installer
Step 2: Go into %appdata%
Step 3: Create a folder called LunarClient in Roaming (%appdata%)
Step 4: Right click the Lunar Client installer
Step 5: Click extract files...
Step 6: Pick the folder you just created in your Roaming (LunarClient folder)
Step 7: Once files are extracted find LunarClient.exe in the folder
Step 8: Right click LunarClient.exe and click "Create Shortcut"
Step 9: Launch it on your desktop

Hey guys, a quick little update regarding my now-deleted messages in the #📬︱announcements channel:

We didn't calculate how many people were going to be inviting their friends to join in order to get a cosmetic. That's our fault. There were also a small number of people (~5) botting the Discord. With all that combined, we had about 3,500 members join in the span of 20 minutes. Our Discord bot went entirely offline, and it was way too chaotic.

You can still invite your friends, but we are going to postpone giving out invite rewards for a bit. Those who got their 20 invites before the bot was disabled can still make a ticket to claim their emote.

We will let you guys know if and when we do the reward system again.

We've just released launcher version 2.4.6 which re-enables 32 bit Windows support. Additionally, 2.4.5 switches Lunar Client to use Zulu JVM - you might get a Windows Defender popup as it's your first time running this JRE, this is not an issue.

To comment more, we are now using Azul's Zulu builds of OpenJDK because they are more up to date than the previous Oracle JRE we were using. This provides us bugfixes that are needed in our development of Microsoft account authentication. There is no ETA on using Microsoft accounts yet.

There has recently been a security vulnerability disclosed by members of the Minecraft community that affects many different Minecraft clients and servers. This vulnerability allows malicious users to run arbitrary code on your computer by sending chat messages in-game. This exploit comes from a particular version of Apache Log4j used in Minecraft.

All versions of Lunar Client are patched from this exploit, so please restart your client as soon as possible.

There has been a large number of spam bots claiming to be an official Discord account. Discord will never message you asking you to fill out a form/login to your account. Be wary when any user/bot sends you a link you were not expecting or do not recognize.

These bots have now all been removed from the server.
