yeah don't expect the Fortnite community to bother with much beyond PvP currently. Stuff like OnlyUp was an anomally because it went viral for reasons outside of the community. Epic's curation team also have a bias against anything which strays too far from the typical Fortnite bang-bang-pew-pew gameplay as you'll notice that the "Epic Picks" are largely PvP shooters. So actually putting effort in, like you have done, to try and give the community something fresh and different is largely ignored.
I do run an instagram Threads page which occasionally does community spotlights for UEFN projects that are innovative and/or creative and this certainly qualifies. I only have a few thousand followers but hopefully a few will try your project when I spotlight it sometime this week.
