Think of it like Kytchu's directional dodge but it deals hefty damage.

The Great Bridge is the first mission of the Bacton Campaign, which takes place immediately after Wrathnar's Last Stand.

Part I
Your sole objective is to clear a path to allow what remains of Order's forces to retreat to your side of the bridge before the unknown assailants massacre them.

Part I
On all difficulties, the player is given a total time of 8:00 to rescue Zilaros and his company, however the wave count increases.

Waves are triggered by the player's distance from the garrison. Examples of waves:

It's publicly known in Iris Capital that there are "outlaws" (Blights) hiding under the city. The king has directly stated what exactly they do, they're trying to keep the population calm, even though disappearances are frequent.

There are underground passages to get in and out, but since Blight occupation, they've been expanded into a network. No one besides the Blights knows how to navigate the underground, so the lack of intel would get any attackers lost and possibly killed.
