#What do deep freeze even do fr

Are you using it on enemy units that already have the freeze effect on them? Such as units that have been affected by ice path?
so it does work, it does 4 tic damage, for its duration to all enemies in the blast radius, the way the damage appears isnt special like poison or volt though so its hard to spot.
ik u right cuz this dev is too dumb to relize this skill is vain, it not even apply anything to the enemies and the only thing it does is decoration
it's just make for newbie scared of it truely thick of it
😂
It does something, if you use it correctly
Though it's not stated how to use it correctly
no its not
To use it, the enemy units have to be applied with glacial effect first

this is what it does

my friend test it on single unit with me
i controled 1 unit
and 1 unit
garrison
and both run to the base at the same time
Wdym
compare their speed that got applied freeze effect
cmon everybody know
the fact
Was the deep freezed unit taking 4 tick damage?
no
Then it wasn't deep freezed
Ok basically, the Deep Freeze only makes the enemies take 4 damage over time. No extra slowness is applied
Which is wrong according to the ability description
it does apply an extra slow as well as dmg
running spearos + surge + glacial fletching + squall, the slow isnt much compared to surge though and theres some weird parts to it
It's just that it says 'greatly slowed'
I don't really see that
wow really creative abillity🤡
everybody know
ikr
🤣
it's a raw slow% that it applies compared to surge which is an effect multiplier additionally the damage that it deals doesnt care about whether the enemies are currently slowed it only cares if they were at the time of cast (needs more testing to see if the damageing effect is immune to cure)
The damage effect definitely is immune to cure
I just wanna know how much of extra slowness this Deep Freeze applies, because it’s so unnoticeable and it looks like 0%
i beleive it's somewhere below squall and perhaps above friendly squall?(so there is no point combining with squall for the slow effect but this could also just be a factor of the constant application from squall, still doing more testing though because i got some weird results (the slow from his spear lasted for like 7s randomly once)
something tells me there is way too much behind his slow but I will get to the bottom of it
I have heard about this one case

alright this was helpful, the slow should be around 35-50% from deep freeze, it's a flat number hence it doesnt effect bigger freezes that are enherently stronger. now it could just be bugged to only work on glacial fletching (and his attack is coded to be treated as such even without t1/t2) theres just no other freezes in the game that i know i can try to get any more data.
Yeah. Using Deep Freeze after Ice Path does literally nothing. But it’s really effective with his melee attack
Now I got to wonder why
You can see that Deep Freeze only applies extra slowness to that one Swordwrath I hit
Could be a bug since I didn't remember seeing anything in #updates-sws about the change, it just stopped giving extra slowness at some point.
Also Deep Freeze dmg is decent. Does 4/tick with a max of 9 ticks, doing 36dmg to everything affected and that's with no AOE cap. And Spearos was never meant to be an AOE general, he's supposed to be for crowd control
works with glacial fletching specifically
I think it works only on his melee |:
