This allows players to research a new upgrade that is similar to the wall and would also have three research levels. Once the research is finished, miners/enslaved miners would get a new action button.
The Spike Traps are untargetble, slows, and inflicts a uncurable DOT that deals 3 damage per tick and lasts for 5 seconds against enemy combatants. It also inflicts damage when enemy combatants step on it.
I.e
2 dmg against heavies
5 dmg against light
Above I have mentioned that they are untargetble, that is because the only way for enemy combatants to destroy them is by stepping on them a number of times.
I.e
If research level 1: 10 times
If research level 2: 20 times
If research level 3: 30 times
It takes 5 seconds to build up and players can have up to 5 Spike Traps at a time in the map and has the cost of;
100 gold
50 crystals
