#Giants uhhhhhh.....

Hey look (if you want):
Giants are in a rather bad spot right now, meta or not, both sides have them as an underwhelming, expensive as hell, slow, upgrade dependent units. You are almost required to use monstrosity to make them even worth the point of using them, and that's already two spots in a deck.

Why:
Giants are a tank/Aoe heavy unit shredders that feel replaceable, because other units do it better and faster than giants (maybe not damage sometimes). Yes, giants are more endgame units, and yes, they are more of a commitment, but giant has so many counters, for so little counters they can do. I see buff ideas for giants usually having to be toned down if "too" much is given to them; this always confused me, and I want to understand a better picture of WHY giants haven't received a big buff in a long time (and got nerf sometimes). I'm not a grandpa in this game, in fact, I'm somewhat new to the game (Around when heal ward was an heal that affected the entire field, and kytchu was an absolute menace with CW), yet this still baffles me.

In the picture, you'll see a rating that I made of units difficulty to fight, when you use a more giant centric deck (shit on it all you want, I'm not good at the game). A rating of 1 means its a free kill to the giant, and 10 is a nightmare to deal with or straight up counters giants; there is also my reasoning for why of my rating. (Again not good at the game)

Balancing:
Point, I do see why they don't buff or even touch giant that often, it's hard to balance giants. To make them balanced would be nice, like archidons, so my point of balance change ideas is something around hit capacity and cost** for now**. Giant is countered by spam alot, because giants can't keep up with it so a +1 to their hit capacity would be nice. Their cost is their og cost (legacy and 1), and its not worth 15 bags of gold for 1 unit; I say a small split cost of like 1250 gold and 150 crystals.

giant being a giant wall is good, but i just dont think its good enough as a wall, i think it should be a stronger wall

I agree. Giants need some atention, and this sheet just shows how bad the current giant really is. Good work.

The point is that upgrades who buff only a single unit are useless

What if monstrosity also buffed enslaved giants and when ever they eventually add him, griffon the great? A little more usefully but they are still to expensive.
