As a brief preface, I have mostly been away and not as present on the server for this past month. In the coming days I will read through and catch up on all the feedback that I have missed. With that said, I figured I might as well most an odd little idea that I had had.

I propose a possible minor interesting change to the way in which Albowtross fire, in comparison to SW2, SE, and other present SW3 ranged units. It might be unnecessary and inconsistency with other ranged units could be an issue, but I think that it might be neat. Namely, they change of which I speak is to change it so that Albowtross preloads their crossbow, and perhaps has their arrow fly faster as well. What I mean by this is that when coming into range of an enemy unit, rather than load and then fire, they would always load their crossbow before moving on and would arrive within range of said enemy with their crossbow already loaded. Though a minor change, it could theoretically slightly improve their capabilities against fast units that can kite well, and enhancing their role as a heavy flying sniper unit (though sniper in this case of course being a higher damage, as opposed to very high damage). It might make them more skilled at stopping the likes of bombers early, catching scouting units before they retreat (though considering the albowtross’s speed, they are not likely to get much more than a single shot off), and of course they will remain most effective against heavy melee units, and now at catching fast ones (like the Ripprider, who I hope to one day see the Albowtross as perhaps a sort of counter to, though slow. Assuming of course that the Ripprider receives appropriate nerfs.)

An increase to the speed at which their arrows travel would also help both the initial shot and general fire in the midst of battle against moving targets, continuing to improve their aim and accuracy in that way. I imagine future targeting ai or control might also benefit with this, such as an Albowtross taking special priority to hit bombers. The loading also mirrors an actual advantage of the crossbow, which is nice. Once more, this would be a minor change, and perhaps not worth the effort, but it might be neat.
