ReBar won't stay enabled. 4g coding won't stay enabled CSM mode keeps turning itself back on. all my parts are compatible (intel arc b580, ryzen 5 5500, Tuf gaming b450 plus motherboard) i'm at the end of my sanity trying to get this working and need help desperately.

So rebar says it’s on in bios. 4g coding says it’s on in bios and csm mode says it’s off. But when I boot up and check my driver page it says it’s disabled still. I’m also having issues just booting my pc up since installing new graphics card. I have to keep switching it off by the wall first then back on again or it just try’s to boot with no display. This is consistent and will only boot up after a hard shut off by the power supply first. This might be irrelevant to the rebar thing but worth mentioning

key things are

  1. Use DDU to uninstall drivers, download latest from intel, reset any overclocking on your motherboard including xmp on your ram
  2. CSM off, UEFI on
  3. precision boost overdrive on
  4. save BIOS settings

Bonus: download latest chipset drivers for your CPU

BIOS problem, try updating it one more time, it maybe was just a step (If you used an updater software).

Caution! Read first and don't proceed updating it without reading this notice!
Updating the BIOS is very risky, especially with a bad network connection, you could brick your motherboard! I recommend flashing it from a USB stick, which is safer, but still CAN brick your motherboard when USB ports malfunction! Use the BIOS updater of your OEM manufacturer if available, because those have features to prevent you from bricking you motherboard, but you could still break it. If you built it yourself, then you probably want to flash it, NEVER use a USB stick that has a corrupted file system for flashing your BIOS.
