it's AMD dude, you cant restart the system using "restart" you have to shut down and turn it back on when you need to restart

#

yup

#

seems to be the worst issue, hope they fix it on the firmware level soon

#

is your graphics card in a pcie 4.0 or a pcie 3.0 slot?

#

I need to like start documenting all the people who have this issue so maybe intel can escalate fixing it

#

hmm yeah they said on that github thread that they isolated the issue to pcie 3.0

#

have you tried different display cables, that works for some

#

yeah something during POST is going wrong

#

is that a gigabyte motherboard

#

hey where does it show you that it's connected over pcie 4.0?

#

try going in bios and manually selecting the pcie slot speed as 3.0 and using an hdmi cable

It's not helping me, Im here to help you

balmy karma
#

yeah thats correct like that

#

no basically the only solution right now is swapping to a motherboard that has PCIe 4.0

#

yeah CSM is for legacy OS and hardware

#

like windows xp

#

let me update my list with motherboard / cpu pcie version comparisons

balmy karma
#

try PCIe bifurcation 2x8

#

woah does it work in the PCIe 2.0 x16 slot?
