#mic not working on a intel laptop

sometime after purchasing my msi gf63 thin 11uc with 15 12th gen the microphone suddenly stopped working not to mention the laptop is only 1 month old can anyone pls help (anything is appreciated) ty in advance

check your windows audio settings and see if the microphone is selected as default
