what temperature do you get in idle?
did you remove the plastic from the waterblock?
both tubes are warm, one is a little warmer, the idle temperature is 32-35 degrees, I removed the plastic from the water block
ensure that your pump is running. otherwise the water might be stagnant and not circulate.
I am sure that the pump is working because the temperature in the games does not exceed 70 degrees

yeah that sounds about right my overclocked 5.3g p core 12600k hit 100 on benchmarks with an air cooler
to first question: yes this is "normal", more watts=more heat+speed, i only use half
to 2nd question: short: no
long: running hardware at high temperature speeds up the wear&tear
it could damage things if you ran it for weeks on 100c(including surrounding components)
i usually set an 80c limit on cpu/gpu, to avoid dead fan surprises (instead of the wattage limit)
after buying the computer, I decided to check it, and I ran the occt stress test for 2 hours, the processor temperature was a maximum of 95 degrees, and the video card was 67 degrees, it couldn't hurt it, right?
im pretty sure its fine
if you keep that load all year, benchmarking, mining or running factorio 24/7, then you might halve your cpu's life(at 95c all the time)
but 95% of games dont use much cpu, only crazy saves of factorio or city skylines maybe
for contrast, 2 hour load vs 8765 hour load
im sure its ok, depending on your habits, smoking is bad for your pc xD
