#Intel arc A770 16GB Vr suggestions

Yeah, i have an Arc A750 + Quest 2, and I would recommend using ALVR (but setting it up is REALLY hard and long) or Virtual Desktop. VD is probably better but it costs 20$
However do have in mind that some games are acting rather... weird on Arc GPUs (those colors/rays are not supposed to be there)
Didn't had problems with bonelab but blade&sorcery had some issues
Thank you for your suggestion
I cant even get my quest 2 to link to my pc for some reason
I plug it in and everything but it just says waiting for you to connet your headset in the oculus app
I have already bought virtual desktop, but cheers anyway
Update for anyone else
I have tried VD, I have tried ALVR and if you have good internet they work perfectly!!!!
However, I have very bad internet so these options don't work for me as they both rely on a good internet connection to work smoothly. BUT THEY DO WORK WITCH IS AMAZING!!
I need another option if anyone as one, ARC users cannot use the oculus app, or connect our headset to the oculus app, so we need something standalone, and for me I need something that is 100% cable.
I would appreciate any other suggestions.
And something to note, I contacted Oculus support about this issue. Apparently they are working on an update to make the oculus app compatible with the intel graphics cards so I guess that's something.
I've tried to use the USB cable and the PC sees the headset and devices. However, the Oculus app just can't see the device because it is looking for a GPU that it is happy with.
It does work with the Virtual Desktop Streamer on the PC, and the Headset running the Virtual Desktop app.
Connection seems to be limited to using a WiFi connection between the PC and the Headset.
The way I got it connecting well, was to use an ethernet cable to a stand alone WiFi router from the PC. The Headset then connects to the WiFi router via WiFi 🙂
Thank you for the suggestion, but I have already seen that method, and although it would probably make it a bit better, I cant see it making a massive improvement purely because my internet is very slow no matter where you are.
PC VR mode?
All it needs is a good connection to the PC
I use 2.5Gb ethernet and WiFi 6e
I get a solid 2.4Gb link to the PC
Maybe I missed something.
I'm not sure what the Internet is doing in your set up?
Game streaming service?
My oculus is obviously not connected to the internet via ethernet.
So my connection is too slow to run wireless vr
simples.
All I need is a simple oculus software bypass that uses the oculus link cable to transmit data, instead of using my internet to wirelessly connect my vr headset to my pc like ALVR does.
You mean WiFI not internet?
Your PC on Ethernet and Oculus on Wi-Fi should be good enough, no internet involved n
It’s all done via your local network
