#I don't know what could possibly be a GPU or CPU problem
67 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
what game are you playing?
Roblox
the fact that it doesn't just happen in games even when I watch videos
when I do common things
my intel component specs
i5 12TH GEN
Iris Xe Graphics
I hope this problem will be resolved. I've reached the point of wanting to change my PC
tone down the roblox settings, your gpu is the bottleneck
but I also say that in other applications it is like this in all Windows in general
check task manager and see if any other processes are using more resources than it should
I've already checked this problem, it's been happening to me since I bought it
@patent geyser
can you elaborate more on how your pc lags ?
my laptop lags a lot for example as if I were playing a heavy game with max graphics
Are you playing on a desk or your lap?
the driver is awfully out of date it seems?
4648
the latest driver is 5xxx branch, no?
Yes
lap
Update drivers, try playing on a desk and see if it still happens
Have you only been playing on your lap and blocking all the air vents?
no even on my work table
Update the graphics drivers
Yet the screenshot you posted above shows an older driver.
yes I know you were I tried to put an older driver
but there were newer ones available
And are you running a virtual machine in the background when this happens?
could it be a graphics processor problem?
no
Why are you neglecting the fact that your graphics driver is old?
because I already know that's not the problem
Your GPU is integrated in the CPU. If it’s randomly lagging during regular use, it could be a cooling problem.
I don't trust you, the way to troubleshoot problems is to minimises variables.
Also run the windows disk defrag utility to run TRIM on the SSD
come faccio ad follow her
And make sure you have all your windows updates and HP driver/firmware updates installed
here are some updates
I don’t see any lag?
..
Like scrolling isn’t buttery smooth, but that’s more in line with the 60 Hz refresh rate, not lag.
how to resolve
There’s nothing to resolve, nothing seems wrong?
Please let me know how I have to tell you
if you see the start menu in the video how lagga
There’s no lag there? The start menu opens the same way it does on every system I have, mine are a little smoother due to the displays being higher refresh rates
Yea, that’s what your display maxes out at. There’s nothing wrong with your system. It’s performing as the hardware should.
@patent geyser
The “lag” could just be you having too many softwares running and you recording on obs, your laptop is also limited by 15 watts which kinda limits its performance too
even when I only have one thing open it does this
It's a 15W cpu, so don't expect it to run well with 10 apps open. Or even two.
Check your CPU frequency behavior. Compare battery and plugged it. Does it stay at 2.3Ghz or drop down to like 400Mhz?
If that is the behavior something might actually be wrong.
Otherwise it seems like user error.
