it might be that you need "chipset" drivers
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19347/chipset-inf-utility.html?
this one autodetects, expect screen flashing during instalation
chipset connects pci to cpu, wifi is often pci
hope it works wonders for you like it did for me :)
