Hey bud, immediately, my time working with the iDSA team tells me they'll want a copy of the iDSA folder to view what's going on. If you can zip this folder and attach, it would be helpful.
C:\ProgramData\Intel\DSA
@tranquil viper - there you go. Pinging so you know.
I'm totally fine with people pinging me 🙂
Appreciate it! I'll make sure to get it to them
Glad to help. 👍
Ticket FMH-1598 has been created.
Hopefully, it's resolved soon. 🙂
Hey @meager tulip, our support team would like to know how you’re disabling DSA
Using Task Manager's Startup tab.
Using the Task Manger Startup tab will not work, it will only disable the tray. If you want to disable the DSA service you need to go into “Service Manager” and turn it off, plus switch it from “Automatic” to “Manual”.
cc @oblique oyster Please have someone create an article for this ^
But this shouldn't be necessary. If it's disabled through Task Manager, it should affect automated start-up as well. And the program's right-click menu (since it lacks a proper GUI) should have options to turn off automated startup...
Though I did disable using Services.msc, will see how it goes.
@tranquil viper roger that.
