#Prioritize tasks for specialized staff

When there's a lot of specialized staff working at the same time. It would be nice to specialize them even more for added efficiency.

Example 1:
I have a chef with the ability to make food that spoils slower. I don't want to waste her talents on skewers. I want her to prioritize making bread, or even stew/soup. I want the other chefs to prioritize quick meals.

Example 2:
I have a server who can take multiple orders at a table. I want other servers to focus on serving plates or staffing bar counters, and I want her to prioritize taking orders at tables.

Example 3:
I have a dogsbody who lights safer fires. I want him to be responsible for hearths/stoves, and have the others focus on deliveries and taps.

This please. The amount of times I've watched servers serving tables while the bar is overflowing with impatient customers and servers only care about tables is so frustrating. I've resorted to making two taprooms, banning people and disallowing food/drinks there, but it doesn't really solve the problem for bar customers vs customers ordering drinks at tables, so all I could do was throw more staff at it. Prioritizing one person to bar counter and another to tables would be so helpful. And I really hate that if I want efficiency I can't have a single taproom right now. Maybe rimworld-style priorities or something. Or even checking/unchecking jobs you don't want them to do

Thank you for your feedback and the examples! These help a lot to understand the pain points and what you want to be able to do in the game ๐Ÿ’š

Tavern master has a priority system that would work well in this game. Wouldn't even have to be that granular, just chef prio 1, dog and serve prio 2, janitor 3 or never etc. Especially in a game like this where they have generalists as a specific role.

As of now, what you can do is make bread ovens in a side Kitchen that you bar the other chefs from entering. This will have your spoils slower chef the only one going in there to make bread while the other concentrate on more immediate orders.

Though this is pretty difficult to pull off in Riverbottom, there is some space in the other two locations.

That would mean that when that chef is off work, nobody can make bread until they come back... It's a workaround but not one I'd risk using
