So, in the demo, I noticed that orcs had a lower base movement speed than others. Humans have 28, elves have 30 and the halflings and dwarves are in that range if I recall, but orcs only have a base speed of 20, 2/3rds of an elf's. Now, this isn't a huge disadvantage, movement speed isn't too important for several roles. But I'm wondering if orcs have any kind of advantage to make up for their slower speed. Do they?

Yes, they are stronger so they won't be slowed down much when carrying heavy barrels for example.
So, I'm pretty sure this isn't a thing right now. It's not all that important, really. But I have organized a little race to show that orcs don't carry heavy barrels faster. I had Edward, a fast orc with a high dogsbody skill race Eld'ralyn, a normal elf with a low dogsbody skill to see who carried a barrel more quickly.
Uhh hold on video file's too big for discord.
Okay here we go, first up is the scenario that most favours edward, where they're both going through empty rooms as generalists.
I've also tried it with a hallway and in dogsbody uniform, but that just exacerbates Eld'ralyn's advantage.
(Edward may be getting a higher percentage speed boost off the uniform, but it's scaling off her lower base speed.)
Awesome experiments!
