It shouldn’t let you start it at all, the start race option should be greyed out. Did you cheese something like use a cheat code or no?

the option is definitely greyed out and does not allow you to click it (i don't know why the "available in full version text isn't working properly though.)

yeah I'm unable to reproduce this. david are you talking about the playtest version, and the "coming soon" tracks?
