verglas is definitely one of the best sentinel weapons (probably just the best one)

however if you dont actually have some mods on the sentinel to synergize with it, then its not going to be a super impactful addition either way

im not saying you shouldnt be using verglas, all other sentinel weapons will suffer from the same thing

viral/heat verglas will do more than fine, but if you want your sentinel to get a decent amount of kills than minimum modding on the sentinel itself like contagious bond and fired up probably at bare minimum

otherwise its just not going to be super impactful

you can just totally ignore the weapon if you want the sentinel to be pure utility

as in just remove assault mode and put defensive/utility mods and thats it

I have a question, if someone is willing to explain. The “100%” DR on Kinetic Plating at full battery, does this mean full battery at redline full or full battery at not redline full???

Furthermore, is the DR actually 100% or is this like getting a full strip on Pillage where it’s possible but getting there is like pulling teeth?

Iirc full battery = max redline

Its pretty achievable with gauss but since he is bugged with arcane aegis this ability is a lot of the time the subsume slot

and the damage taken when it takes from redline battery is proportional to damage taken so higher level enemies chunk more, according to the level cappers it becomes basically impossible to charge redline with kinetic plates at higher levels

but of course in normal level gameplay that is a non issue

The most popular is Corrosive blast.... But be warned that it's the (as I would say) the most used build as it makes the Torid more powerful.... It might provide bad habits in modding if you rely on Torid

Hello! I have encountered a funny that I cannot seem to understand. I want to make an immortal Dante that doesn't take more than 500dmg a second on overguard, here is my logic:

Health Conversion = gives me armor 450 on 3 stacks, up to 1350, loses a stack on health hit
Arcane Persistence = removes all shields + doesn't allow more than 500 dmg to be taken if above 700 armor, which I nearly always have because of Health Conversion
Hunter Adrenaline = Without Health, ally overguard imitates Health
My overguard should of imitate health, and because of arcane Persistence, to not take more than 500 damage on the overguard
Sadly it doesn't work, Idk why, I shouldn't of taken more than 500dmg on overguard if the mods would of worked together
I tried in missions and also in simulacrum, full stacks of Health Conversion + 500cap icon from Arcane Persistence, yet I get thousands of damage on overguard a second from enemies, I even tried sitting on the health pickup in simulacrum to make sure my health conversion isn't magically taken away but no, a single jade light beam shreds 50k overguard in a few seconds, any ideas?

Ignis wraith is still solid for the base star chart but you'll want better options for steel path

Don't be afraid to experiment with your other Build tabs for different specializations.

Getting good range and strength makes the 4th ability avalanche a decent armor strip strip build for CC, while Snow globe can be used as a slowness trap in hallways.

And just spam avalanche

For just defense I'd use a max Strech so a single snow globe covers defense pods. Also look into getting augments.

You can also use frost to farm Survival missions too, just choose a tileset with tight halls and line up your 4 globes in a hall for a slowness trap (Just beware, globes play funny with some projectiles)

That said, I also just use him to mostly Solo farm defense.

The main reason people use volt is for the shield buff and shock trooper.
Shooting through the shield increases crit damage for both your weapon and your amp. So use a crit weapon.
Shock trooper is an augment that gives you an additional electric damage boost. I think you can get away with using regular mods just build for strength mainly with range being the least important
