hah, exactly that, it counts for the weapon itself, but it doesn't count for the other set, so basically you can have the exalted melee at max level but the rest stay behind until you put it on a normal melee

To explain why he went with this build:
You need some strength to grab more guns.
The high range is to affect as many enemies as possible.
With the 4 you can cast the abilities and then basically permanently freeze their duration, which is why you dont need a ton of ability duration here.
You dont need much efficiency for the same reason.
Catalyzing Shields grants you 1,33 s base shield gate. The shield will be restored by casting any ability and gaining shield from it with the Augur Mods, which also works well with low efficiency.

If you dont have Primed Continunity then perhaps you have Archon Continunity or just the basic continunity instead. Same for flow

You get access to all the weapons just by playing the game, especially farming base frames and feeding them to Helminth. Some of the best weaponry in the game doesn't have that high of a mastery lock either, like Torid is mr4 iirc and you only need SP for the adapter. I'm mr18 atm and that's going up as I keep getting frames and helminthing them
My first goal was actually mr13 to unlock the Bubonico, and I kept going from there for Coda weapons

there are a few options

• Velocitus, bouncy railgun with absurd raw damage, the usual choice for PT speedruns.
• Grattler, Kuva variant does provide a nice sustained AoE, good for quick granum void runs
• Corvas, consider regular version and prime being different guns altogether, regular being a heavy shotgun and prime being a plasmor type, both reliable
• Fluctus, mostly used to speedrun orphyx missions due to infinite terrain punch trough so... very niche
• Larkspur/Cortege/Mandonel, all beams with fancy alt fires for all tastes
• Dual decurion, prisma can be nice but mostly for the flashy factor

All others are just... either plain or a pain to use in any meaningfull way.

yes it does with multishot the single shot generates more ricocheted bullets
if you want crits i use enervate or galv scope (or the equivalent headshot crit mod bc the ricochet can hit heads)

i wouldn't use deadshot. enervate, en(cu)cumber, or merciless would be better because deadshot gives less recoil to a gun with almost no recoil on incarnon and non incarnon form plus the headshots the ricochet bullets give to proc deadshot are pretty nice when it procs once in a while
but in overrall damage itd be better using merciless instead for flat damage all the time rather than conditional damage

The reason why deadhead won't be as useful against bosses is because some of them like fragmented have occasional "head opening"
Which means frenzy will stay active by stray mobs but deadhead's headshot multiplier buff won't affect it anymore

Besides, deadhead itself gives base dmg

Even if ricochets don't proc frenzy, one shot at any mob will do the job

If u can max out galv shot potential, why use deadhead?

Encumber will offer more weakening against enemies

Even though galv shot isn't multiplicative and isn't buffing at 100% power because of ignoring incarnon damage bonus, it's still as good as or better than deadhead if encumber is added

Hey, i need help! so i built my nyx using an overframe build, but i do not prefer to go through engame with assimilate running. i already removed stretch and put on adaptation, and using ther strain mods due to the theme and fashion. should i use blue tauforged for armor for surviabilty? that seems to be the only issue.

or should i swap out weeping wounds on my melee weapon for healing retrun or lifestrike? none of these but the shards feel like a viable fix

strain is not a good mod set for endgame also i think you gotta kill enemies to refill your enegy so maybe instead of investing in survivability invest in energy gain

Better to shield gate using Brief Respite or Augur mods to restore shields instead of adding armor

Its likely better to go for shield gating than armor, since armor/health falls off at higher levels, while Shield Gating doesnt share this issue and you can very easily proc it the whole time.
Using Psychic Bolts (optionally with Brief Respite / Augur Mods) will grant you a jump start for your next gate

I've never been a fan if shield gating. Maybe rolling guard.. but ti be shield gating has always felt like some origramming oversite that gives small windows of invulnerability.

It was specifically introduced because of community feedback. Early in the games life, you couldnt actually do high lvl content with 90% of the frames, because only damage reduction and damage negation abilities would allow you to survive smth like a lvl 150 gunner.

For nyx its actually much easier to pull off than for other frames, since she's got a built in shield restore. If you're not sure how exactly shield gating works then I can give you a quick sum up

Its pretty decent if youre on a budget. Do slot Galvanized Hell though instead of Hells Chamber, since its a straight upgrade from it.
You can also lean more into crit. The status isnt crazy on the gun imo with 2% base status chance and the inbuilt primer shot

If youre using the cedo then perhaps dont invest forma, since the cedo prime is really cheap but MR15.
The build is alright for now, save Galvanized Hell, but you can work your way through some upgrades for sure
