Oh, SP starts at 100. You'll want to focus on that before getting too ahead of yourself. EDA and ETA can be tough, even for late game vets.

That's not dependent on Standing. The currency of Steel Path store is Steel Essence. You get these from doing Steel Path level bounties, from Incursions (daily alerts that ask you to do a Steel Path mission— doing these also unlocks the node, so it's a good way to Taxi yourself), from opening relics in Steel Path void fissures, some from Duviri, but primarily from killing Acolytes. They spawn in every few minutes in Steel Path. Basically they're like Stalker, each has their own gimmick. Killing them gives you 2 steel essence (works with boosters too, so theoretically one could give you around 20 if you have every single booster source?)

Since the Vector pads, when placed in front of the consoles, just block any enemy from taking back the tower.

So that's 2 towers which you don't have to worry about

Plus Vortex and you only have to think of 1 tower plus eximus.

if your talking about doing the interceptions solo, i find it easier to use a on call crew member with a kuva zarr. capture D throw them down and tell them to hold position. they usually defend it pretty well and give you enough time to get the other points

gara n garuda require a bunch of work in their respective open worlds, and mesa is tied to a rather annoying boss
but yeah, rhino n koumei are the easiest to get to start with, next might be excalibur from the mars boss or valkyr from the jupiter boss
(skipping the one on deimos as its rather annoying for newer players)

Pets were overhaulled a while ago. They no longer "die", and no longer require upkeep to keep them at their best.

Pets are now "downed" in a mission and revive on a timer. You can revive them earlier, same as you can with other players.

There was a further quality of life update that moved their resource doubling chances to a mod that all pets can use, so it's viable to use something other a Smeeta.

I fly around with my archwing around ponds, seeing if I can find enemies or a base around a fishing spot. If I find them, I equip my mining laser, check for nearby ore. If we're good, fish, mine, kill.

Oh, undetected. Yeah, at that point, fly high to check, to keep the detection meter down. They'll eventually calm down and go empty triangle after a minute or so, if they do alert.

But rolling and drifting are other ways of getting around. I sometimes forget to bullet jump.

I personally keep forgetting to bullet jump. I kinda get around with a weird jump, hover, roll combo. I think all my spy farming affected my travel, since bullet jumping breaks stealth.

I've run level 250+ mobs with Valkyr, no problem. And so long as you keep his casting rhythm going, Dante is stupidly powerful.

Oh, Valkyr used to be invulnerable in her 4, but she'd take a lot of damage if it dropped and enemies were nearby. Now, she gains health per enemy she hits.

Companions should be invested in completely

if you want the “best” companions, the go-to would be Diriga or Nautilus

Is there a source for what warframes and weapons and companions are good, with builds for them? I tend to just find overframe if I try and look or random youtubers with no idea if they are any good

Nah, you take an archwing, fly way way up, then snipe enemies from the sky. They count as stealth kills, so you get that sweet stealth affinity percentage.

Uh, I think you're misunderstanding me. Like, you pop the first 4, non eximus mobs in rapid succession, then shoot the eximus, hover for the WF affinity, then quickly move on to the next cluster of mobs and shoot-hover-500% affinity each hit.

Or focus on the eximus only, but I tend to lose my timer doing that.

Although the method also works for turret kill riven challenges, yeah. That, and headshots.

Oh, you want to be high up, like they're little blobs. If they're moving, you're too close. Also, the dargyn pilots are always on high alert, so ignore those.

If you go into the accessibility settings, you can add enemy highlights to see the mobs easier.

Is corrosive the only status that does elemental damage? My friend is saying that corrosive is the only status that innately does damage and the others just do status procs.

Every element has the damage type and the status effect. These are two related but separate things. If you have the damage type listed in your mod window or get a buff for a certain element, you're dealing that damage type.

Corrosive's status effect also just doesn't do any damage so your friend is dumb.

There are a ton of weapons in your clan dojo (if you have a clan) and in the market, not just the MK-1s. And some of those basic weapons are really nice too.

There are several ways to have several visual effects show up, exposure didn’t

For the most part, just going through the star chart. Eventually there's stuff like Sanctuary Onslaught but you'll want to get your footing before just grinding MR for its own sake. Otherwise you don't get a feel for how to actually play the game.

Ah yes, those are Dark Sector missions, they give nice bonuses with slightly enhanced enemy levels, and they'll be infested. I completely forgot about those, they're like the first good soloing spots as you progress. ^^
