Hello raiders,
ARC Raiders has absolutely SKYROCKETED in popularity and for good reason!
The game has been engaging since the start, mixing PVE, PVP, Proximity chat (so good) and a really good aggression based matchmaking that ensures you're goop collection is among people who play much like you do. (Except for those darn rat players, they're always in some corners waiting to steal your goop)

This Forum will be for general discussions around ARC Raiders, sharing tips with eachother and hyping up the occasional updates or leaks. You can also try to look for a teammate to go goop hunting with or to destroy the ARC as a team, but don't expect people to have the same or a similar playstyle as yours, it might mess up your solo matchmaking so be careful

Let's get that goop raiders and make use of that Prox Chat or at least the Quick Chat so you and your fellow raiders get back safely to Speranza

What is the "end" goal of ARC? I have seen people going round killing machines and people to gather loot... ?

Pretty much yeah, it's kinda like Tarkov and other extraction shooters like them, you get some story quests for some progression but otherwise it's more just gather loot, fight against the ARC (the machines) and there's an opt in seasonal reset where you can use loot you've gathered to have your character "set out on an expedition" which is basically an account reset (apart from cosmetics unlocked and other premium stuff) and you get more perks each time you reset (though the resets are in a timed window, last one was December, next one is prob late February begin March?)

They are working on progressing the story and revealing more about the world and about ARC which is the main interesting part for me, but grinding for better weapon crafts is also pretty fun

So no "final" boss fights or anything?

ARC Raiders has another update on the way!
Coming late January we're getting

  • A new Project to go on, meaning you got something to set your sights on in your quest for the goop! And it seems the goop in question might have to do with the common enemy, the ARC.
  • A new Map condition primarily on the Buried city that has to do with birds?? Better watch your back and the rooftops 👀
  • A new Matchmaking mode, if you trust your skills enough you can go into a game of squads as a solo raider. Make sure to bring some serious firepower or go in stealth mode, but whatever you do, be on your gaurd!

Aside from that we're also expected to see some new regular sized ARC enemies, extra player projects for something to work towards, another expedition window, a new map and map condition and lastly a new BIG ARC, but more information coming on that later
