Ransack
On velocitron, racing is practically everything--and thus takes many forms. One--Combat Racing--is like a mix of racing & pro wrestling (or F-Zero meets Mario Kart), with all the violence & scripting that it entails. In this profession, Ransack is a heel, who plays into his underhanded & sleezy persona a lot--and it tends to follow him, even in more 'legit' races. Despite his love for causing trouble, and leaving slower bots in the dust, he finds himself a little bit divided & unsatisfied. Wanting to go deeper into legit racing...or maybe going more into crime. He mainly wants to be known & recognized--whether it be love or hate.

Crumplezone
Crumplezone has always been a decent driver, and has potential to be a racer. However, his interests and passions deviate from the ideals of the speed planet, but remain what they've always been to him: fighting and smashing. To the point that Crumplezone is regarded as one of the best brawlers on the planet. Picture MMA mixed with Demolition Derby. CZ's fighting ability mixed with racing experience has him reach some similar senses & insights to Metallikato. However, he's regarded as a bit of an outsider, for not sharing the same obsession with speed. He wants to find a place that's more suited to fighting & scrapping, so he'll be seen less of an outlier, for not striving to be the fastest thing on wheels.
The Terrible Twosome act effectively as neutrals in the conflict. Sometimes temporarily teaming up with one side against the other, but more often acting as a wayward wrench in the works. Sometimes this leads to their (mostly Ransack's) alt modes getting forcibly changed (leading to some of their other forms). One notable event being Ransack getting turned from a cyber motorcycle into his locust form (as a slight nod/reverse to Waspinator/Thrust in Beast Machines). While not always being the brightest, sometimes Crumplezone has to act as the stabilizing influence for his buddy. Despite being a sleezy scumbag, Ransack genuinely cares for Crumplezone, and sometimes will try to steer him away from fights they likely wouldn't win. And of course, the two would fight at times--bickering like an old married couple. Though, I tend to keep them as best friends, rather than outright shipping.
A parallel could be drawn between them and the duo of Skidz and Mudflap from ROTF--however without delving into racial caricatures. Ransack would retain his Jersey accent, while Crumplezone would have a Bronx accent.
