I'm brand new to collecting, but I heard that this is one of the best moulds of recent times. But I don't know which one to get. Did they fix the chest pegging in issue on later Cybertronian alt mode versions? Did they fix the hole in the chest issue with Earth mode Sideswipe? Knowing these would be helpful.

Never had a chest tab issue with my Cybertronian version, and wasn’t aware there was an issue that was fixed in the earth mode version.
Anyways, here’s my opinion:
Pros/cons of Siege:
- satisfying transformation 👍
- cool alt mode 👍
- weirdly splotchy battle damage 👎
- limbs are a slightly yellow-tinted color instead of white (this could be yellowing, but looking at photos online it seems they are the tinted color by default) 👎
Pros/cons of Kingdom:
- satisfying transformation 👍
- cool alt mode 👍
- white limbs 👍
- hard to find nowadays 👎
There are plenty of other characters that share this mold to if you’re looking for the same figure but prefer a different color. The G2 version from Siege is quite a unicorn figure while Red Alert, Tigertrack, and Deep Cover tend to be easier to get.
Same goes for the Kingdom mold. Red Alert and G2 deco seem to be the hardest to find, but you can buy Clampdown on Amazon for fairly cheap now.
